How can I beat my friends v6 with my ss?

This is the 2nd best thread I've seen on here. The 1st being the ******* thread. 3rd being the black car thread.

I knew the v6 turbo was more powerful but I didn't know you had to do serious mods to an SS to beat one or just "give up". Wow.

Suggestions to beat him:
- Use language that hurts his feelings.
- Date his sister.
- Date his mom *runs*
- Get slicks.
- CAI, exhaust
- If you're worried about a warranty, don't do the tune.
- Focus on college, get a good job and own a very nice home with a 3 car garage.

I have a V6, and I would way rather have a V8 for the sound it has. Who cares if a V6 beats you? The only time a V6 will step up to race an SS is when they know they have a chance. Also, when you plan to add more power to the V8 it will be able to take more than the V6 because it is designed to. The LS engines can take a lot more than the LLT engines.

Took a lot to get that little V6 to make that power. He will be stuck at that HP range for quite some time too. Much easier to make the SS a faster car over the V6 version.

It doesn't. Bolt-ons and a tune are not serious mods.

Bolt ons and a tune will make it a drivers race. Need cams if you want to beat him.

What bolt on/tune L99 makes that much power? This a mod you can do to the V6 over a weekend.

lol Just get the 1le gears...and a CAI........The tune can void your warranty, headers also are o.k., if you really want to beat him just tell a cop by his car at the time he has no CATs...................Or you could get a warrantied build up of the car by many racing shops that warranty their supercharged installs, some for three years.
