Sub'd! One of those mods to look out for. I have the 'non' colored HUD and looks like the MyLink/Color hud will be on the list of interior upgrades!

Thanks for doing this!

I would like to have the leather inserts also. Makes the interior look better.
To have the color HUD/DIC and inserts, wondering if it would just be easier to find a 2014 complete dash set up (from a wrecked car) and attempt that install. Would have everything including mylink system
Could that be done to 2010-2013 vehicles? or is the impossible scenario?
I mean if your going to pull out the dash anyways to replace parts...
Thanks

sent from a computer at this nurses station when I should be writing orders.....instead of playing around here. Nah! more fun here

Ok, so is the NEW color HUD a direct plug and play replacement for those of us that already have HUD? Or do we also need the color DIC cluster? I'd love to switch out my old HUD unit for the new color one. A step by step DIY would also be helpful.

Can we get a recap or a DIY on this?
I read the whole tread twice and I'm still very confused...
I have a 2013 and I'd like to swap my display for the color display.
  • Is it plug and play?
  • Do the color and the blue HUD have the same connectors?
  • Do I need any parts other than the unit itself?
  • Do I need to have it programed in any way?
  • Was the fuse explosion solved?

Any DIY help would be greatly appreciated here
Thanks

1, it is plug and play
2, yes its all the same connecters
3, if you have HUD now you dont need any new parts other then the color unit
4, only if you want the G fores meter in there to.
5, yes i had 2 HUD working on the same fuse and that was to much.

wow! Thanks for the quick response!
Do you sell a unit that has already had the G-Force sensor programmed in?
Is there a program we know of for guys like me who have the old HUD and buy them for resale?

Thanks!

Did that ever get posted? I don't see it. If so, please link it.

Does anybody have any pics showing the difference in dashes? I don't understand what people are talking about when they say leather "inserts". I'm definitely doing the color HUD and color DIC (when available). I want to make sure I don't have to replace the dash too.

Did you know that in the color HUD if you set the page to the Gforce meter when you get on it hard ,a second color bar pops on to tell you when its time to shift?
