Sorry to hear about the family issues Dropspeed. I still have your original wheels though they are in storage now at BELLE TIRE. See how things are in a few months and PM me
if you still feel the need to go back to stock. Good luck to your family:-)

Matt,
When you changed over to ctsv brakes did you use ctsv/zl1 braided lines or SS. Thanks

You have to use ZL1 lines
The SS are too short

To be honest, I do not know about the CTS V lines

I used the ZL1 kit and would recommend it.

CTS-V fronts should work, but the calipers in the rear of the V are mounted forward and the Camaros they are mounted towards the rear......I am guessing those would be different lines

As mentioned the SS lines are too short to use with the 6 pistons calipers

Sorry, forgot to call you back this weekend.

-Matt.

Purchase a Z/28 Intake: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...93#post8247493

I know there are other OEM Z/28 CAI threads, but none had the picture I wanted comparing the stock LS3 air box to the Z/28 box.

This is the 3rd intake on my 1LE and by far the best fitment. Others were SLP and then Roto-Fab.

Here are the pictures and part of the install:

Great idea Matt!
I agree, first thing I did after my first track session, I've removed the clam shelf.
I do like the fact that hiding and protecting the coils & wires looks a lot better. I noticed too that the Driver side of the cover lacks a connecting point. I was curious to see where did you attach it at? any pictures of your bracket?

Sorry for the delayed response... I have a ghetto fabbed bracket made out of some metal I had in the garage. My plan was to make something better and have the covers painted. I just haven't gotten that far yet. if you look near the fuel rail you will see a stud sticking up that can be used to fasten this.

We had a nice weekend so I pulled the car from storage and finalized my breather hose routing. Pictures below:

I also had my throttle body ported by Bo White...I drove the car yesterday after the install of the TB and Z/28 intake, but not since October so I am going to hold my opinions/butt dyno thoughts until later.
