Agree! But on that '67(not '68, notice the vent window) you couldn't bring the stripe across the RS hidden head lights. I was drawing attention to the Camaro markings from the past along with the cross flag(427) emblem, but yes I agree with you. Looking at our front ends, it maybe hard emulate the '67 stripe. Not sure where the inspiration came from, maybe we'll find out later. When I saw the pictures, this ('67 example) came to mind. Hey who knows...they have plenty of time to read reviews and beta test some optional stripe packages! Or Not.

Peace,

Brent

(See the 2 pics posted right above this post) To me this is a bummer because those wheels don't look nearly as cool as the ones the convertible gets, and I wouldn't consider anything but a coupe. As far as SLP wheels go, while they're a similar design but are 20's and are not OEM GM wheels, so you won't see them factory installed by Chevrolet, only on cars upgraded by SLP. The 21's however are GM's design, and are what is shown on the convertible.
Similar design.... how can you say they're "GM's Design" just because they're a larger size? SLP and GM have worked together for years!!!

Further - I'd say that Team Camaro has done some pretty amazing stuff with this car -- such as the 1LE, the ZL1 and the Z/28.......again, reasons to disagree with you.

Team Camaro never rests......never.
You guys have done a awesome job with the gen 5 Camaro.

This coming from a guy that just started paying attention and seeing all 2010-2015 for the first time. Outstanding job!

Now my question is where can I buy that splitter shown on these 2015 commemorative editions?

OK, I must be blind because I've read the full press release (linked in the first post) 3 times now, and the only mention I see of wheels is the 20" ones. In fact, I see no mention of the convertible either.

I'll have to take your word for it.

My first thought in seeing this was very underwhelming. I guess all the attention is on the 6th gen, where it should be!

Well when the 426hp 1LE walks the new 2015 Stang I think badges, spoilers stripes and wheels are all we will get for a send off.

If the heavy 5th handles the Ford that easy what will the lighter 6th Gen do it?

I see a lot of converts in the future as the General is on a roll

Incorrect. That design was introduced on the Camaro convertible showcar, which was then copied.

Exactly. That was back in 2007. SLP then copied the GM design for their ZL series, but SLP never made a 21". Only the 21" carry a GM part number.

No, they're GM's design because that's where the design originated.

Didn't zoom enough to see that on my phone screen. Thanks.
