That is unfortunate. Do you happen to have a link to a news article? I want to be sure I am not reposting pics of cars in which the driver or passenger were killed.

Unfortunetly. The number in my signature is off. In my haste last night while finding a bunch of wrecked Zs, I may have added in the unknowns a second time. I think the number is 30 or 31. On a good note, ive added a gallery to the 5th gen Z28 registry web site. Ill work on adding the cars there, and link them back to this thread, or the other way around.

Man that sucks, I remember getting to see this get delivered off the truck. My camber plates are still installed too. Wonder what it sold for.

So...is it just me or does California have a big issue with Camaros getting stolen/stripped? High demand in the underground or something?

Yes, I've been in the retail automotive industry in Southern California for many years. Camaro's have always been a target, and the 5th gens are extremely easy to steal. They literally take less than a minute to fool the security system into thinking it's OK to start and the pro's can just drive off in the car and have it stashed in a warehouse with the Onstar disabled long before anyone realizes the car is gone.

Well, I went back through my tracker and my saved pics. The number really is 37. Ive got 30 with known VINs, and 7 unknown VINs.
