6th Gen early sales

I fully support your decision to buy a v6 1LE to piss off arrogant v8 and 1LE guys. I myself find z06 guys arrogant and lap them regularly on most tracks with my 1LE. Unfortunately, it always ends the same way. As I pull over after lapping them, and all of the hot chicks are flocking to me from the stands, my alarm clock goes off and I have to wake up.

I had bald stock tires.....i represented well. This vid is 4 hours long...fast forward to the 3 hr 58 min 20 second part of the vid. Thats where we are lined up..its armdrop at a old airport. I also out run a 2011 mustang 5.0 at the 1 hour 55 min 29 sec mark.

so I do think it is relevant that the facts be known that very soon there will be a V6 1LE capable of standing up to stock V8

The facts are known. No one needs to "stand up" as it's not a battle against anything but insecurities...

And yes...accusing members of being arrogant as though you're on a crusade is against the rules. The "word" is not the problem, but the way you used it.

I find it awesome that a V6 and maybe a 4 cylinder will be called a 1LE. It opens up these types of cars to more people. And it will be very interesting to see a V6 1LE go head to head against the Ecoboost Mustang with PP.

1Canuck, the V6 is a very nice car, but prepare yourself when the 4 cylinder gets introduced. All of us can talk a little smack from time to time, but if you look at some other forum, some of the 4 cylinder folks, they hate V6's and V8's. Fun times ahead...

Very nice run, but to be honest I don't live my life comparing what I have to others

Everyone is allowed to live their own life their own way, just be sure to make decisions that make YOU happy and no one else. There is always going to be someone who makes more money, had more things, and has the faster car. No reason for me to try and compare my life to theirs because they're not comparable. However, I am happy as I can be and I love what I have in life

It's turned into a lot of bench racing comparisons and grabbing for straws to back up rather pointless arguments. As long as you drive a Camaro you're fine in my books

I posted that vid to compare the 2016 running a scat pack ....and a 2011 running the same car. Thats all there was to that......not sure where the rest of your post came from. Maybe i should have been more clear of my intent.

Sounds like fun.....i really havnt seen to many 5th gens at any strip. But ya..all our disputes will be settled over a cold beer anyway.
