And we thank you for your sacrifice.

On a serious note, I've never heard anyone say "I like my V8, but I wished I bought aV6."

What, you actually listen when other people are talking? Wow, you think would have picked up on people saying that they are actually satisfied with there car, even if it has two less cylinders than others. Oh yeah, if I laid out 40k+ on a car I hoped I would say I was happy with it and didn't want a different one. Duhhhhhh.

I think 323 HP & 278 lb-ft torque isn't a sacrifice.

Some of these v-8 guys write stuff that sounds good in there head, but just doesn't pan out in text. 'I bought a car I like, but you bought a car you like , so I'm smarter than you.' Really, you should read what you wrote before pushing the post button.

What's wrong with you V6 guys? It's the 'submit' button.

You guys still ranting about this?

Not sure how this little V6 pushes this big, heavy car around so well, but I for one am ANYTHING but disappointed when I put the pedal down.

I have a 13 LT vert. bought new. It now has 6200 miles on it. I bought the v6 for the better gas milege and overall cost was so much cheaper. the SS is a great car , and no doubt much faster and better sounding. but I didn't need the power in this Camaro.
I just got a 79 Trans am a few months ago as I always liked those cars, and it has a 403 engine with headers, cam, and k/n filter with 355 rear end. this car runs good, and is loud, but for the purpose, gas mileage and cost wasn't the issue for a part time driver.

The V6 models are definitely not under powered. We forget there was a time when 2 ton cars were pushed by less than 200 HP.

I'm so tired of the same crap on here all the time. ...the v6 isn't the car the SS is....and the SS isn't on the same level as the ZL1......how hard is it to get this straight ? Now where those 4cyl guys be?

What's posted on the internet stays on the internet.

I respectfully disagree though. I believe we're all on the same level & it's not about V6 vs V8, manual vs automatic or Camaro vs Mustang vs Challenger. It's about enthusiasts who are passionate about keeping American Muscle cars alive & well.
