everyone says they don't like the small battery style windows but once you drive the car for a few days it becomes a non issue, don't even notice it now. to me that is just an excuse!

Now I agree that opinons are just that and maybe far from accurate facts... There are as many people who write their opinions as fact as there are people who believe opinions are fact, many do it unknowingly. Mustangs are ugly....written as a fact. I think Mustangs are ugly..written as an opinion.. Dramatic yes...but you get the point. Yes most of us can basically discern what is meant to be facts from what is meant to be opinons. So I am basically just being as ridiculous as you were when you tried to correct me as to opinons being worthless... Confused yet? ![]() BTW rez....since you don't own either vehicle and are apparently researching what to get why don't you ask some questions about the cars instead of trying to diagnose everyones psyche? Are you a shrink or something? Either that or lurk...this is a Camaro site not a Dr. Phil forum...just sayin..

Sometimes MT just gets confused. They sometimes forget what they are trying to evaluate. For example, they think the Challenger is a better sports car than the Camaro because it is roomier, cushier, has a bigger truck, and is more practical. Apparently, it is those traits that define a sports car. Conversely, in the April issue, they gave the Malibu a bad rating in their 4-cyl family sedan comparison because it was a 1/2 second off several of the others 0-60. And as we all know fractions of a second difference on a dragstrip is the most important factor when it comes to choosing a practical economy car.
Coming next month: which is the better luxury car, Mercedes S550, or Chevy Aveo. Sure the Mercedes seems nicer, but the Aveo is just too good of value, and therefore takes the win. On a serious note, MT always gives big points to the newest stuff, not necessarily the best. Give the Mustang its 6 months, after that, MT will be complaining about its aging platform.

Don't get me wrong, the 2011 Mustang GT is BAD A$$. And faster in a line than a stock SS. But what's more mod-able?

Fair enough, but my point is that it isn't agreedious that the Mustang be picked ahead of the Camaro.

But the Camaro definately wins the SEXY award. Just this evening my neighbor (who has seen my car for 10 month already) was telling me how he thinks my car is really nice looking. That's always nice to hear from people. |
