Mods - we really need the date(s) soon to start securing vacation time from our day jobs.... Pretty Please...
We are duking it out.. kinda with our prmary choice.

In comparrison we are small fries so we are having to work hard to convince them that we can turn a profit...

(that's the short version)... I just learned from last year, that once I say it here it's official..... So please forgive us... We are truly trying to get it done

Everyone on here wants this in their own backyard but it is impossible. So keep the spirit alive and go with the hand we are dealt. I am going to do my best to get to where ever it ends up next year. So lets support the mods in their decision and have fun.

I think it should be either central or west. I feel central is the better option to get more people willing to come. I wanted to go very baddly this year but just couldn't get the time off to make the drive.

Make it in the middle of April and I will be there. It will not interfere with my trip on the 28th of April. I realllllllllly want to be there.

I completely understand the task you have at hand (as do the rest of us, don't we?)... And you guys do an awesome job coordinating all the items necessary for an event of this size. I got sick to my stomach though when I heard the timeframe though (April).. My daughter is getting married in April and the way my luck runs, that will be the weekend of next year's Fest.. But, I remain optimistic..

Again, thankx for all you Mods do for us whiney members... Lori

I want it to be the central part of the US. How about Oklahoma City.

There isn't anywhere in OKC that could hold us all! And don't think Thunder Valley in Noble could, it's wayyyy too small also. It's gonna be West this year. Next year it will hopefully be more central. If it's not in Texas, I don't think I'll ever be able to convince my Dad in going.

We are closing down Lakeshore Drive to use as the drag strip. The winding road in the dunes is reserved for the road course event. My home is centrally located in the center of both.

You have Road Atlanta, GA, Dansville, VA that has road coarse tracks.

There are a lot of great road course tracks around the country. Outside of Phoenix Firebird has both a road course and drag strip along with parking lots for show and enough left over space for an autocross. In the more central areas, I can't think of a location that has both drag and road course tracks on premises. I'm sure there are, but they just don't come to mind.

Please post up the names of tracks that have both on site.

If west coast is where it is, then that is where Hubby and I shall be, and we will drive my Camaro the entire trip... there and back and everything in between with a plastered to our faces the whole time.
