Scott make sure you file the tabs down flush with the emblems.I'm assuming it is a repo for a 68 camaro.Iused 3m tape from Autozone.Idid the same thing this past summer.Use a template and masking tape to get location on both sides.It takes time to trim tape,but worth it!The 3m tape didn't raise it any higher than my 45th emblem.Hope everyone had a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!

I got the tape a couple of days ago the trimming is going to take a long time! good idea in making a template will do!
