It shouldn't be as bad as you think. Ford only build's 5,000 GT500's a year and there are plenty of Forum Sponsored Dealers that are offering them for msrp and as low as 1k above invoice for new 2011's. I bet most forum sponsored dealers will be selling the Boss for msrp as well but of course there will be crooked dealers wanting $10k+ markup and probably $120 for a 302 LS like this dealer in Roseville wants the same 120k for their 2010 GT500 sitting outside.

Your cant blame these uneducated sleaze bag dealers for charging what ever they feel like for any sort of car. I saw a new un-lifted Wrangler with a dealers asking price of $42k when my I got my dad his 1/2 ton 08 big horn 4x4 ram w/ LSD and tow pkg for $27k haggle free using my costco card.

You really have no idea what you're talking about do you. Regardless of a rear seat delete you still don't compare a Mustang to a Vette. And where did you ever hear that the Mustang was made to compete with Vettes? Shelby already had cars killing Vettes back then, look up the Shelby Cobra.

Funny how the most outspoken fans of the Mustang are the ones driving 10yr old GT's or Trucks and internet racing a 60K+ car they will never own...

Ford wants to make a sports car with this new Boss to bad it will always be second fiddle to the Z06 and the Rear Seat Delete is... lmfao!

No the funny thing is that when the Camaro is threatened the Chevy people run and hide behind the Corvette.

It is also funny you call me out for bench racing a 60k car and then in the next sentence you start bench racing a 80k car.

the reality is comparing the SS to the boss is like compairing the RT to the SS. It will get destroyed in everything but comfort yes I am a jealous SS owner but think the boss is sweet, great job ford..GM wake up.

i do not have a 10 year old mustang GT. im driving the one 2010 SS drivers talk about. if i wanted that 60k car, i would buy it. what i DO want is a caddy 2009+ CTS-v or the 2012 vette if it does look like the split window stingray. you have no idea what the buying power of folks on the internet is. saying things like that is foolish.
