Anyone do the Nurburgring Taxi? I'm going to Germany in week. Any suggestions?

You can rent a car and drive it yourself. There are several rental firms around the track that offer everything from mild to wild. But a race taxi lap with a Pro will really leave you appreciating the Beast that is the Ring...

Why not try both? Take the ride in the taxi and learn the track somewhat and then rent a car for your own experience.

I was stationed in Germany for a little over 6 years, and have 24 laps myself around the Nurburgring. Nothing like, miss it. I owned a 2008 BMW 335i at the time, made many laps when the car was stock and laps every time I added to the car. Ran a 10min lap when the car was stock once I was familiar with the track, to running a 8 min lap with a heavily modded 335i. Enjoy the day, there are so many spots you can just watch some awesome supercars tear up the track. Also if you do drive the track there are free lance photographers that might capture a picture of you driving that you can download from the internet.

Wow! What an amazing experience. So fast. One of the most joyous experiences of my life! I'm all the more determined to learn to drive better and faster. The GTR is painted in scales! Definitely Godzilla! I got off of the track over 8hrs ago and I am still a little high!
