V6 Base Model 2009 Camaro

Since we are running out of things to talk about, I have been wondering. All we ever see are Concept models of what looks to be the V8 Camaro.

What would the V6 model look like?

Can someone who is a Photo-chop expert, make a drawing of what the very bottom of the line 2009 Camaro would look like?

I was thinking of those 69 Yenko Camaros, where the car looked like a sleeper (hub caps, no spoilers, nada). Very plain jane looking.

I am having a hard time imagining the 2009 design, as a V6 model because the design in general is very aggressive looking.

Wouldn't the V6 model have a different front end? and maybe a different bumper? Maybe some stripes to make it look cool, even if it didn't have the V8 scoops or vents? 17" (smaller) tires? One exhaust pipe? Or does the V6 get to still have shiny dual exhaust outlets like the V8?
Perhaps the V6 model won't get halo front headlights, and instead have normal headlights. Maybe a different designed front grill?

I think the rocker panels would be different for the V6. The fog lights might be removed also.
There would possibly be a front end that should look more feminine?

It seems to me the V6 model might end up looking just as good as the V8.

And if that was the case, could you dress up a V8 car to look like a V6 (aka create your own sleeper). Just a thought.

I only hope there are external differences between the V6 and V8 cars unlike most of the CF4 model years.

I think the main things like pin-striping, a single exhaust pipe or double; just together on one side, no hood cowl and V6-ish type rims will be standard. GM might even release V-6 ground effects.

I can easily see no Cowl induction hood...however, I have a had time seeing no scoop, as it's part of the front end...That black piece in the back looks easy enough to remove, and replace with one for only one exaust pipe. I can also see no rear spoiler, howver subtle it already is.

Def smaller wheels, and a downgrading of the interior.

You are going to be able to tell the difference between the V-6 and V-8 model. What that difference is I couldn't tell yea.

I remembered seeing this when you brought this up.
I think this is probably what it will look like minus the dual exhaust and spoiler but i bet the tip will still be chrome.

I completely disagree. But I know that's a personal opinion.

I can't wait to see a GFX kit on the new Camaro. GFX enhance a cars low profile and looks imo.

as you all have reade d in the camaro female designer interview she said : '' the main objective to keep in mind when developting the new camaro is that the v6 version willl the best selling version of the camaro ..............so in advance you can guess like in alll the camaro's years that the v6 will be pretty much the same camaro as the v8 only without dual exaust and a hood air intake ...... i bet im right ..............in the past years the camaro v6 has been almost always the best selling trim , soo keep in mind that not EVERYBODY focus on the engine sound , power or prestige

just my 50 cents

Enhances the looks to some, cheapens it to others

I heard somewhere that G/E actually slow your vehicle at high speeds... But, a car that's priced @ a little over $20k will def. have cloth seats. In the past, V6's have had a stripped interior but I think these will be well appointed for the money, some may even come with OnStar.

I'm willing to agree the concept doesn't NEED GFX. It looks great without them. I just personally think it will look even better with them.

3rd Gens were 'eh' without them, but I liked better with (my '82 didn't have them and I always wished it did). In '91 and '92 they were much more 'beefy' looking with them. (I believe you could only get a Camaro with them those 2 years. I had a '91.)

Now the 4th Gens? Without GFX they were some of the most bland/boring looking Camaro's out there. Without them they looked like a squished Chrysler Concorde. (I had an '02 Camaro and my mother has an '02 Concorde. I always told her she drove a bloated Camaro.)

except the Camaro had attitude. Lots of it. I try to think of the 4th gens as a wolf in sheeps clothing...
