anyone running a tvs 1900?
Hi was wondering if anyone was running a magnuson tvs 1900 and what their thoughts were. I am looking at a 2010 with one installed and wanted some feedback on them.

Talk to any CTSV or ZL1 owner since that is the factory blower on those cars.

If you have a choice, go with the bigger blower. If you're car shopping and come upon a Camaro with the smaller blower, I wouldn't write it off unless I wanted 650 or 700 rwhp. The smaller blowers have done that, but it's a little of a stretch.
BTW, the new C7 Z06 is going to come with an even smaller 1.7L TVS blower on an LS3 sized motor. The BS about the TVS blowers being so inefficient at higher boost levels is just that. If it's set up right, the smaller blower can rock your world |

If you're not going for big power, I've heard awesome things about them on our cars.

I did the testing for magnason using a 1900 on the Camaro. It was great and made right at 500 at the tire got 24mpg and I ran 7.60s in the 1/8th changing gears with 22s .. Its a great little blower ,the 2300s better,if you get a good deal on the car go for it.We have made 700rwhp with the 1900...

I would only go with the 1900 if it was a really good deal...I very much prefer the 2300 or something even larger.

had the 1900 on my '06 GTO
The 1900 is a really nice unit. IF you don't have to get more than 600HP then this unit will work great. It basically put down as much HP as I wanted on the street.

Bigger blower vs smaller blower at same boost and if u are on both of their efficiency maps the bigger blower will make more hp, cooler.
