Now that full ordering is open, does anyone have any info on when we might see B92 - Exposed Carbon Fiber Hood Insert added as an option?

MAYBE just maybe the ZL1 itself is "still on constraint" and we have to wait for all the details to be ironed out.

I got mine ordered today. In the work bench I didn't see the exposed carbon insert or the stripe decals!

As of this morning it wasn't...

I would actually love to see the carbon pieces (Interior and spoiler) from the ZL1 carbon concept added as options too but that's probably dreaming!

The grey stripe to match the carbon fiber insert is there just not the insert. My dealer thinks that if you order the grey stripe specific to the insert - the insert is part of the "package".

I'm sure they're working on this....be patient...keep checking back. I can't imagine they'll grab orders for production without all options being available...

B92 is the hood with no stripes as I mentioned over a week ago.
If you want the hood and stripes you order B92 AND DSW.
Exposed carbon fiber hood only is B92.
Black painted insert is standard, therefore no option is needed.
The optional stripes, DSX are ordered if you want black stipes to go with the standard hood.
The order criteria is mutually exclusive, so you cannot order the grey stripe with the black insert, or vice versa.. it won't be accepted, and the order will be bumped.
I don't know why B92 isn't available on order sheets elsewhere, it is on the sheet from my dealer sitting on my kitchen table.

Anyone have an update on this? So it seems that B92 has somehow dropped off the order sheet?

Here's what Fbodfather said on another site, hope this helps you out with your question

I've gotten several questions in the past week concerning hood options on the ZL1 -

Soooo....

--- to try and clarify the ZL1 hood/stripe content...

Standard: a black hood insert.

Or...

there is an optional exposed carbon fiber weave insert (RPO B92).

NOW................

... if a customer wants the stripe package...and they have the standard black hood insert,
they must order the RPO DSX (black stripe package). This is the ONLY stripe color available with the standard black hood insert.

OR............

... if they ordered the optional exposed carbon fiber weave hood insert, AND THEY WANT A STRIPE -- then they must order RPO DSW (dark gray stripe package). This is the ONLY stripe color available with the optional hood insert.

In terms of COLOR OF STRIPE:
Bottom line is black stripe goes with black hood insert,

AND

dark gray stripe goes with exposed carbon fiber weave hood insert.
