Plates came in... they suck!

My plates came in friday, took them almost 3months yea Cali, dmv slow or lack of prisoners LoL, anyways i opened up the envelope took a glance at the plates and said HELL NO im not putting these on! So now i'm trying to come up with a catchy name for personal plates, i wonder how long i can go without plates on and how long it takes for vanity plates to be made and sent? I still have my dealer sticker in the window and the rear plate aswell.
I know i didn't have a choice in what was sent but damn....

4-6 weeks or so.

You have up to 6 months to put on your license plates. No rush.

Just make sure you have the paper taped to the window. That's your"teporary" identification until your plates "arrive".

It appears every state is different. Colorado gives you a temp tag for 60 days, then you go to the DMV and get your plates. There's no "waiting game" per se, it's just a standard 60 days. I don't know how much you guys pay for plates, but mine for my 2011 SS just cost me $756. Ouch. Just for regular ol' plates.

When my Camaro gets delivered to me, and I have to put a license plate on it, I did a little research, and decided to go with one of these plates, since my Camaro will be orange and I live in AZ

Tag, title, registration, and ownership tax (not sales tax). All collected by the DMV when you get your plates. Vanity plates cost $60, and an additional $25 every year.

3 months to get plates? In NY you have your plates when you leave the dealership. Vanity plates take 6-8 weeks to be made.
