I was originally planning to come by myself and stay only for NCM track day, but it seems my whole family can come with me, so I'll try to stay one more day to check out the real "Camaro Fest". I think my kids will enjoy watching whole bunch of Camaros.
I don't have to buy tickets/wristbands for checking out vendors' display, and watching the Camaro show, right? Or do I? If I should buy them, please let me know what tickets I need to buy.
Looking forward to it!!!

You'll need wrist bands to get in Beach Bend. That's where everything is.

If you were a bone stock SS how would you like to be running against 100 tread wear tires?

NP... I have these printed for handouts as well.

This is also added to Post #1 so it's easier to find.

It's not a "bone stock" class.

#2) STOCK V8: Any V8 Camaro. CAI and/or Catback only, are allowed. No Headers, tune, engine modifications. (Street tires will consist of OE radials or any DOT street compound radial, regardless of size. Tire must have a 200+ treadwear rating to fit into this class).

It's a contradiction.

Class is pretty clear with treadwear the equalizer for tire. This class includes a lot of SC and NA cars and is the closest to bone stock that it's reasonable to enforce. It's a heads up class so I suspect the final rounds will be 17 A10 ZL1s against 16/17 SS A8s. The drivers that know their car will prevail and reaction time (and experience) will rule the class.

OK I got it. I went to the Camarofest7.com for the ticket, and I guess it's too late to purchase tickets online, so I'll just get them at the gate.

Accuweather shows "A Thunderstorm in spots" for Thursday. Hopefully, we won't get too much rain...

I stand corrected - Class 2 now excludes the ZL1 and that is a great change. Times should be a lot closer together. But, I've been off target on this one already and look forward to some great racing.

#2) STOCK SS: Any naturally aspirated V8 Camaro. CAI and/or Catback only, are allowed. No Headers, tune, engine modifications. (Street tires will consist of OE radials or any DOT street compound radial, regardless of size. Tire must have a 200+ treadwear rating to fit into this class)

Got home at 2:30am Est left around 10AM drove straight thru fell asleep the minute I hit the bed. The new fuel door got a ton of compliments at the 2 gas stops I had on the way home my 4-Cylinders of Boosted Fury averaged 550-600miles a tank with 1/8th left at fill-ups.

Thank you to all the people that made this a success, Cheryl and I met a lot of great people and the event was done well. There is always room for improvement and learn from what took place but overall good job. From the parking lot car show thanks for all the nice words about Thumper2
