Probably take me 2-3 sessions just to get "used" to the track and what I'm willing and/or allowed to do with my car on it.
Most people (especially if you haven't had the pleasure before), don't appreciate how taxing a track day is. 4-5 sessions is enough to tire someone out for a day, and we've got 6 on the schedule.

PLENTY of driving time.

We've now established ourselves as an approved group/event with NCM insurance.

As of 2/1/2017, the event should be available for selection on the website. If it doesn't work through NCM's site...try here: https://locktonmotorsports.com/events

Awesome!!!

I ran NCM last year, my car has LT headers, no cats, Magnaflow 3" Competition exhaust with mufflers, I also have cut outs, I tried one lap with the cutouts open and I was flagged, I closed the cutouts and was able to continue running

I'm just glad I'm not one of those UPSET people.
I've never done West course but I'm sure it will be fun, but if I can choose between full course and half course, I'll definitely want full course.

20 minute sessions are perfect. I went to a few events that had 'complete open track' so I could go out as often as I want and stay out as long as I want. After 30 minutes on one session, it wasn't as fun any more.

This event got me all pumped up for track days but I have 2 1/2 more months of wait before track season starts in Michigan....

Entry Pass for Thursday at NCM Road Course purchased.

Answers to you questions:
What clubs you have run track days with?
-Trackmasters
-GVC Chapter BMW CCA
-Trillium Chapter BMW Club of Canada

What tracks you have ran at?
-Watkins Glen
-Mosport (Canadian Tire Motorsports Park)

Total number of track days...
-32 days (28 at WGI and 4 at Mosport)

Previous experience at this track and how many times.
-None

Have you been previously solo approved, and if so where and by who? (Only required for "advanced" group)
-Not permanent solo yet, but > 15 days signed off by instructor to run solo for multiple sessions.

I run in the Advanced Run Groups at WGI and was promoted to the Advanced Group after my last two days at Mosport (10/2016).

My suggestion if it matters, is Intermediate until I get a feel for the track.
