I sent a question in asking why aren't the ZL1's running 11's as advertised, I doubt it gets answered.

There are questions about the Z28 and such but I decided to ask about that hill assist if it is able to be disabled. :/ lol ]

Edit: I believe he just answered the question. When asked if there's a way to disable it he said don't hold the brakes so hard. :o

I think he more hinted towards it than blew it off. He said there are a lot of options they can chose from and a Z28 was one of them

It's hard to read between the lines but I think one of the most important things Al said was that they're not done with the fifth gen yet. They already offer more than anybody could ask for(except Z28), and they're still looking at ways to improve and maybe adding more models/packages. I think putting the next gen V-8s in the fifth gen would be extremely successful. I also thought he made it sound like they're not in any hurry to release the sixth gen. He stated twice that they were waiting to see what the new Mustang would have. So many different things they could do. It looks to still be a bright future for the fifth gen.

I was very happy to see that.

The video is up now. http://www.autoline.tv/journal/?p=2691

As for the Z28, even though it seems like he blew it off ... I've heard other Camaro team personnel say the exact same thing on more than one occasion. So I'd say that there's something there that they can't talk about. It might not be a Z28, but I can't shake the feeling that there is something in the works.

Also ... when I sent those questions in (gap between 1LE and ZL1, then asking about a Z28) I was hoping that they'd be read together -and read the same way I wrote them. But the way they reworded them & broke them up it became harder to see that it was really all just 1 question about a Z28 slotting in between the 1LE and ZL1. Oh well, at least they got on air

Wait for the fall. People will be more experienced with their cars, and they'll be running in cooler denser air (thus making more power).

Just a thought...they've done ZL1, 1LE, COPO in fifth gen mode...maybe saving Z28 to spice up sixth gen...just a guess...
