It is very reassuring to hear that the ONLY problem you have had with your LS in 70k miles is a lamp out! If New England didn't have such terrible weather all the time mine would have way more than 3k miles!

PieNsky, love that you drive it. Wear it out, I say. What fun is a great car if it just sits in your garage. Of course, in 3 more years at your pace your son is looking at 280,000 miles! |

Do you park it on a running dyno at night? Wow. That's cool though that it has been reliable.
I guess in my family only my dad drives more: Dad=2005 Dodge Ram Diesel around 183,000 miles, Mom= 1999 MBZ 500SL AMG around 18,000 miles, Me=2004 Dodge Ram Hemi 56,487 miles, and 2010 Camaro 5,216 miles. |

Wow... when I saw 70K, I thought the thread would be about a 4th gen or something. I drive mine a LOT, and I've got just under 40K since Nov 09.

GM makes a great v6 engine.. we have a (non camaro) v6 3.8 and its at 168,000 miles and all we have ever done is change the oil..2003 Impala... I would buy a v6 Camaro in a heart beat.. we get 28 mpg in the Impy and I have to say the Camaro is styling a lot better ...hahahahahaha
Congrats ... You going to have a little party when she hits 100? |

Don't have to wait till it hits 100K for a party, although it will be a good excuse for another one.
