But the only thing hissing is the rear 6x9 that i tapped off of as soon as i connect the rca to my amp. if the voltage was too high i would expect the sub-amp to have a distortion. its almost like the input to my amp is giving off a voltage that is distorting the pre-amp line into the BA amp. . .

Just to be sure, are you referring to a ground loop isolator? I'm not too familiar with audio components and thats what came up when i started looking.

I'm pretty sure Steve is referring to a Ground Loop Isolator or a Line Output Converter.

Also, I'm sorry - I misunderstood how you had things connected. I thought that you had hissing on your amplifier output.

No worries, in fact my bad for horrible description lol. But I'm pretty sure I have a good idea what to do now. Thanks guys, I'll pick up an isolator today and see if it fixes the issue.

Spliced RCA into Subwoofer Out on X1. Used White wire on X3 for remote turn on. Worked Great. Using RCA Voltage Regulator for my amp volume. I like that better because it actually mutes the amp unlike the gain remote that came with it. Thanks to Camaro5 for all the help on my new clean install.
