That's enough from everybody.

What are your thoughts in regards to the 5thgen on TopGear.

I think they are going to compare all three pony cars together for shit and giggles, Clarkson will prolly favor the Camaro and say good thing about it (while grinding his teeth like it hurts him to say it), then at the near end of the show in the studio recap Clarkson is going to walk up to a BMW or some other european car that cost twice as much and out of nowhere start talking about how he would rather have that car; even though that car wasnt part of the story.

Words to expect (these are the "positive" Clarkson words referring to American cars:

-crude
-brute
-forgiving

Then somewhere he will find something minor wrong with the car (armrest or dash grain texture) and bash it, even though he would overlook it on a european car. Expect these words:

-garbage (pronounced by Clarkson: gaaarbige)
-clumsy
-primitive

Then if he does a overall positive review, he will say something along the lines that he is surprised the Americans are capable of building such cars (As if we are cavemen or something). Then he will flame the styling by complaining the retro cues (in which he has no respect for, which isnt surprising....since he is not American) and complain that it is not has stylish as his nutswinging favorite European cars.

I think that prolly is what the script will look like.

I dont think so. Lol. But I think it measured on hungry Clarkson is to chew on the bumper of an American car and how blood thristy the BBC viewers are to have some American flaming.

It prolly be broadcasted after everyone here thats going to get a 5th gen has bought there car. And we will all just shake our heads and say "your mom Clarkson,.... you mom."

There's far too much US car bashing from the British motoring press (and yes, I'm British - and drive a Mustang).

But, Hammond is a fan of Amercian muscle cars. He owned a Dodge Charger and still owns a '67 Mustang Fastback.

I love you. Get on your soapbox in front of Buckingham Palace and convert your media. Lol. Just kidding. If that was possible we would convert ours.

I'm going to be different and predict that FIFTH GEAR will have Tiff Needell giving it a great review.

While the foreign shows do have some antiquated bias towards US cars, Tiff was absolutely enthusiastic in his review of the Z06. He went as far as stating "the Americans are showing US how to do it." while power sliding himself silly.

Sadly, it's very difficult to get Fifth Gear here.

I love Top Gear. But there isn't a car the really love. They always say each car has it's merits. I think they make points of interest on the cars but never really one of those really "I would love to buy this car" kind of reactions. Unless it was that one car that was at the top of the list with the really long name.

I'll get back to you on that...

Well done!

just a side note and observation regarding the show top gear, I find they ' the hosts' are almost 'elitests' . Having the audience stand for an entire show like peasents, while the hosts sit in comfort.
