Corsa or Borla

Sooooo... I'v been looking into a cat back exhaust for my L99 and narrowed it down to two, based on the many reviews and videos I have seen....

The Borla ATAK cat back or the Corsa cat back exhaust.

Any headers will be in the distant future so I'm looking at these 2 systems with keeping everything else stock for now.

Any opinions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

Also, would putting on a cat back system mess with the warranty at all... i am thinking not but would like some more confirmation.

i love my atak system. they will both perform pretty much the same so its all about preferred sound. catbacks should not void the warranty on your car.

I have heard both the Borla S and Corsa in person and the Borla is the better of the two.

those are my favorite... atak and corsa .... most people will tell you to go atak... do you want to be like most people? any ways the best exhaust in vettes is corsa.

i went with corsa... but if you get a exhaust only get atak or corsa... good taste my friend

ya i thought i was headed in the right direction... ATAK is fairly new so idk if many really have it compared to corsa???

i wasn't feeling the ATAK system...wasn't really the sound i was going for. i HATE the corsa sound. so i went with the borla "s" type catback. sounds closest to what i'm going for, now i just need it a tad louder and i think the catted midpipes will get me there.

i hate the sound of borla's, so I would vote for corsa.

Get the Corsa LS3 system, I have the Corsa LS3 system on my L99 with longtubes and it sounds absolutely awesome, I get so many people coming up and asking what exhaust I have, I liked Borla on my cousins 07 Vette, but the Camaro with Borla did not have the same great sound that the Vette had, Go with the Corsa

The corsa LS3 system? What are differences between the L99 and LS3 systems

Russ and I did a comparison when the first ATAK came out back in April... Not the best video but here you go...

You will get drone while cruising around 2k rpm w/ ATAK and will not with Corsa..
But ATAK is a little deeper tone than Corsa

He has longtubes so I don't know how the LS3 system would work on your stock L99. I'm in the same boat you are with the L99. Waiting for advice.

The L99 comes with an X-pipe and resonator... LS3 doesn't have the resonator. If you have an L99 and want to keep AFM then get the L99 version.

Whoops forgot to say... both of those cars have LTs but the same applies.. you can use the LS3 version on your L99 with or w/o LT... they both bolt up the same. I would turn AFM off if you elect LS3 and no resonator, otherwise you will hear the AFM groan when it goes into 4 cylinder mode

Not really sure why you would want to go w/ the LS3 version anyway. Very little HP is gained w/ any catback.

Thanks for the info.. i plan on keeping AFM for now so maby corsa will be the way to go since im going to be doing a lota freeway driving for long distances next year.
your saying there is no drone what so ever with corsa?
