i have owned 2 cars one 67 nova that has no interior and i have never driven and a 2005 colorado i bought brand new 2 weeks out of high school. and i have helped my friends with thier used cars. i can tell you with out a doubt the peace of mind of knowing your the only one to have used the car and to know its always been treated right is so worth it. unlike finding wads of chewing tabacco under the driver's seat or duct taped engine mounts in a used car.

Go with the Camaro - the newer the GM car, the better they are. My 2007 Tahoe is LIGHT YEARS ahead of the 2005 it replaced. Our Enclave is stunning inside and out. My 2004 Corvette is a smooth car, and I love it dearly, but I actually find myself driving my tahoe over the vette just for the features and quality jump. After hearing all that I have heard (from Fbodfather and others at GM) about the quality of the new Camaro, it will be IMPOSSIBLE to compare the new Camaro to a 2005/6 C6. Sorry, the Camaro versus used 'Vette will be like comparing a BMW to a Mazda. PLUS: If you and wifey decide to get busy with the family, the vette will be sold instantly, whereas the Camaro can probably be justified due to the back seats!!! Who wants to sell the baby just because of a...baby?

If the SS2/RS is over 35k fully loaded I might be looking at Jetstream 2008 Corvette.

Have you seen some of the preliminary numbers, yet? The SS won't be killed by a Shelby. Although, if it does start to pull ahead, you can always loose it on the next turn.
