I would think if you need 3 pumps you need more than 1000s,i would go ahead and get the 2000s now and save from buying them with the f1x

Yea, i have started leaning this way. By my calcs of 1200 crank HP, BSFC of 0.6, 8 cylinders and fuel press at the rails of 58psi (is this correct btw) and 80% duty cycle. I get a requirement of 97.43 lb/hr or 1024 cc. The ID 1000s are right there with no slop.

I could go with the ID2000 for 2 grand or the fuel injector connection Bosch 2000s for about $600 less.

http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/sh...&productId=246

In your opinions from those who know, are the ID2000's worth the extra 6-700 bucks?

Oh boy...did you just open up a can of worms.....

This topic elicits strong opinions on all sides....my car had the FIC injectors in it and it ran like a top....others will tell you that if you use FIC injectors that you will instantly turn sterile, a plague will fall upon your family and that your car will likely spontaneously combust the first time you start it up.

Lol...strangely the ones pushing the expensive injectors are usually the ones selling them. Weird how that works.

People have been using fic injectors for a while around here. I've never heard of a problem and it is what I will have in my car. They also have a 1200 injector maybe that's what you need. There are tons of people I know personally and on ls1tech that run them.

They are right down the road from Vengeance and they install a TON of them with no issues. They had to talk me into using them at first because all I ever heard was the above, but they worked flawlessly and considering how many sets a shop like Vengeance must turn out a year then I think they'd probably be pretty familiar with any issues they might have.

I have run FIC injectors in my car from day one of modifications and never an issue with them. They are top notch injectors that are flow tested to match. I have now switched to Moran 240lb injectors but only because it is necessary for the build i am doing.

Yea, Jon from FIC has been emailing me the last hour. He actually recommended the 1200cc 127lb/hr injectors and said they are good up to 1200-1300 at the crank. he says the 160s and 200s are temperamental. I dont think my setup even with the F1x will exceed 1100rwhp. Planning on 16-18 psi on the F1x
