Placed my order for a 2SS RS 1LE Camaro! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

NOT! JK I DID go to the dealer today and TRY to place my order. I sat behind the screen with the sales manager and ordered every option I wanted. 2SS, RS, dual exhaustI TRIED leather seat delete and I could not do it. No sunroof.

He hits "enter" and this comes up: "1LE not available for order".

He said there was some wiggle room but his initial offer was "a couple hundred over invoice".

With all the options I ordered it came to like $41,700

He's going to call on Wed to his person that might know when I can order it(he said she's beyond stupid though) so we will see.

I just called my 2nd uncle in WA (I'm in VA) who is a regional fleet manager or something and he is going to call around and get a confirmed order date for me(US) so I officially know. I told him if he can get me a smoking price I'll order through him and just have it delivered here :P I'll post whatever he tells me ASAP.

Ive also been trying to get info on pricing myself. The dealer i work for supposedly does $500 over cost on new cars so im curious what cost is compared to invoice pricing.

I just went onwww.autobytel.com and it lets you come up with a price, the only thing it didn't have was a price for the "Perefromance Package" but it did let you ck that block.

My uncle said he will beat the "couple hundred over invoice" price I was quoted. Wonder what that means P :P

Go to yahoo autos; http://autos.yahoo.com/ and play with the 'Price New Car' menu...takes a little work, but it will give you MSRP and Invoice price with the performance option (1LE).

Being military I was told that I might be able to get a $750rebate if I'm a member of USAA. YES I AM :P Hopefully that's available :P

Ordering that regardless, but yeah! Does anyone know if the dual mode exhaust off the ZL1 has high-flow cats? I definitely want HFC's. If not I may just get the DPP and put in some new HFCs.

I just got word today the my order went through on my 2013 1ss rs, 1le camaro!! I just got an order number so 8 to 10 weeks!!!! I will be living the dream

Put my ACTUAL order in a well and got my order # back on 18 Aug! I can't even sleep thinking about it LOL

Tell me about it, I drive my wife crazy just talking about it to her all the time! As soon as I find out when I get my car I plan to take at least 3 days off of work just so I can drive it, sleep in it, wash it, play with it haha just love on it!
