Hey, don't mess with the early buyers man....or they will tease us mercilessly for all that waiting time we will have, lol. "Hey, look at my 30's on my Camaro"
LOL....that would make it a monster truck, lol.

I honestly think 29-31 grand US is the right price for a base V8 Camaro with some goodies. But who knows what prices are gunna be like in Canada for us. The v8 mustang goes for around 37 CAD plus tax with most of the goodies... i assume the Camaro will be close to that for us. Too bad we cant buy down south?

True, unfortunately it'll probably be a bit more expensive up north...but - I wanted to point out to you...The Camaro must be in direct competition w/ Mustang...so, look more around 25,000-26,000 for a 'base' V8

Oh, man, that would be so freaking sweet 25- 26 for a base. "If" that's in the neighborhood, then I could easily swing getting a top dog.

Just parroting what I've heard from reputable sources (i.e. GM press releases or Scott.)

Ideally I'd like to hit under $30,000 so it will probably be the lower V8 with some extras like leather for me. If I must, I could possibly swing up to $35,000 but that would really be stretching it, unless I make a lot more income or get a lot more for my Cobalt and Olds than I anticipate.

I just want that sweet GM V8 and the looks that come with the new camaro. Sure, sunroof/T-Tops, and other goodies are great but as long as I have:
a) V8 6Spd b) Power windows, locks, breaks, stearing (most of this is standard now a days) c) AC (I live in FL, there is NO WAY I can live without AC) ...I'm a happy camper.

I'd be content with the G8's V8, 6 speed manual transmission, green or blue paint with white stripes, leather interior, maybe an upgraded sound system (big maybe depending on price and the quality of the stock and upgraded sound systems), and the usual power accessories and AC, which are usually standard at this price level anyway. Then, when I happen to have so extra discretionary spending there is always GM performance products and the aftermarket to upgrade performance.

I would be willing to spend $30k. I hope GM keep's them affordable like they were back in the 60's when they first came out.
