Practically, that Porche concept has no legs to stand on; The expense is out of this world. Should GM attempt to do something like that, they have the experience of the Chevy Small Block, and the expertise of the most advanced propulsion system in the industry....a year or two to slap'em together and I'm not sure another company on the planet could exceed what they come up with.....the question is "Do I spend money developing something I'll never be able to sell?"... I'm certain a hybrid performance drivetrain is in the future...it just has to be. We'll see! |

I agree the pricetag is rediculous and yes i know about the Gen V how it is goin to stack up and price will be interesting but supply and demand my friend with conflicts around the world our way of life is changing as we speak. As that increases demand increases and then the pucker factor really goes up hehehehehe.

I prefer to see carbon fiber used for functional, structural applications rather than purely aesthetic. For example, the Z06s body panels, and the hood insert on the ZL1. In the rare case the carbon fiber can be used in BOTH ways....all's the better. Like the ZR1. |

We need to start a new performance based political party for Detroit Iron -- Drill Baby Drill! That will tide us over until we sort out the power grid and the ultra performance Volt technology Z28 in the 9th Gen.
