Someone willing to trade me their leather for my cloth seats?!?!
Ok so I posted the poll a while ago about adding leather as an option to the 1SS cause I have NO need for the extras in the 2SS...well, if GM doesn't decide to change their mind on this subject, is there someone that I could trade my cloth seats with for your leather seats? I can pay a little extra seeings how cloth is cheaper than leather. But I need to know before the order officially goes into chevy to be made. I really just want the 1SS...
PM me letting me know you wanna do this and we can go from there...Thank you in advance! |

The dealer can get leather/heated seats installed before you take delivery. They are usually nicer then factory leather too.

Unless the person is local or close the shipping is high on bucket seats.

I really don't see the point of some one spending the money on a 2ss and trading out the leather. . . Hell, I personally upgraded to the 2ss just for the leather seats.

Just wait until someone wraps one around a pole. Wrecking yards will be full of them due to the younger folks driving them.

for the cost you will pay for shipping and such, you can just have them reupholsterd.

I don't think you're going to get a trade. You'd probably have to pay for the difference, shipping, and general annoyance of changing out the seats. It'll cost more than just getting some aftermarket leather.

There are companies that sell aftermarket leather that you can probably buy. It would be a lot easier to go that route than to try and find the right color and swap out seats.Check out this link, you can design your own seats.
http://www.katzkin2.com/SeatSelector/SCSTOOL_08.html here is what mine will look like.

Ok I guess trading isnt that good of idea cause of prices...SO let me ask a question...Do the cloth seats in the SS look exactly like the leather seats? For example, does the cloth seats have the oval and what not like the leather does. If it does, then this will make me happy. I will have nothing against getting them reupholstered.

Thats how I plan on getting my HID headlights, when some putz wraps up a V6 RS they got as their first car. Sorry IMO $1200 is a rip off for that package if you want to get the polished wheels as well ($470 on top, means I'm paying $1200 for headlights ! and the tails and body colored moulding does NOT make up for it. No thanks).
