Going by the better fit and finish in this picture compared to the one in Dragoneye's picture, I'd expect this to be the production switch. Maybe HeatherR could give us another picture to see if they are the same. If they are, I'm betting this is production. Thanks for the picture Number 3.

I used to be Dragoneye...
|
Number 3, I don't think your car had Halos, did it...I'm awfully curious to see how you control them...
That's right. Mine was from the IVER car in Indy, I believe. It was definitely pre-production. |

I'm sorry, I just cant get that out of my head. That interior screams cheap. I like my GTO interior better than that. I really hope its just me and in person it looks 10x better than on here. If not, there is no way i am buying that car. I was pissed at my 02 Z06 interior when i bought that new. for a 52k car it was a joke!

is that for the DRL's or is that for the auto-lights for when it gets dark out

just can't seem to leave
|
if it's like the vehicles from a few years ago, it turns off the DRLs & the automatic system. i ain't driven one of these cars, so it'd be nice to hear from HeatherR of Number 3, but i think i remember Heather saying the DRLs were gonna always be on

The car is made with "production-intent" parts, but for the most part these are all of the parts that will be in your cars-they put that intent in there just in case IMO. You can not omit DRLs but you CAN override them via the switch. It is spring loaded, and will revert back to auto, so you would have to override each time. It seems like most of you would only want to temporarily override in specific situations, so you'll be fine. The second vertical switch I will check if I remember correctly, a big if, it controls the length of time the exterior lights wll stay on after you shut off the car? I will check

im assuming one would be for interior light brightness and the other would be a time delay for the exterior lamps so they stay on for a bit after you turn the car off
