Need your help

Need some help guys. Are the lower control arm ends on the 5th gen liquid filled? I know the pics look like it can be antifreeze, but it’s not coolant. It’s an oily feeling substance. No signs of any leaks above, just what you see. The car has been undercoated and sprayed to hell with corrosion protection by the original owner I bought it from. Another though it may be some if that crap coming off with condensation? I appreciate your input. Thank you

There are bushings that are liquid filled. Not sure on the Camaro.

So like everything else, if it’s leaking, it’s going bad safe to assume?

If in fact that’s the issue. I’d check around for any other possible leaks, above and around it, as well.

Thanks. I don’t see anything else that may be the culprit. I just want to know for sure these are liquid filled before I order a new set. Absolutely no suspension noise or anything to lead me to believe I have an issue. Other than what looks like a leak.

Heres another thread on the subject.

Oil leak near front passenger wheel? Do bushings have oil?
