Well seems to me as though if they are saying the prices will be competitve with Ford then that kinda falls in line with the models as well. Correct me if i'm wrong but aren't there 2 V6's and 1 V8 and then the GT500 to choose from with the mustang? So it wouldn't be crazy if they did the same thing..2 V6/Z28 and then SS. But what the hell do i know?!?!?

They probably won't release the top dog version until later, after launch. And those 30 cars, if that is correct, probably will be for the press. I doubt that 30 customers would be able to get one 2 months before launch

Two V6's. At least two V8's. Unless things have changed. Although, they could do ANYTHING to get 30 Camaros out. I'm sure they will be press veh's as well and most likely not for sale....who knows? But, I'd REALLY like to see where the info came from, video clip, something. You have a link to the post?

If there are "two" V6's then I'd wager to bet that one of them will be the DI V6 w/ 300hp debuting in the new CTS.

I only thought there was 1 V6, but I don't follow Ford that closely.

I thought there was only one Ford V6 offered in the Stang as well. I think we'll see two V6 options in the 5th Gen.

Like i said i might be wrong cause i don't follow Ford that close either. I'm pretty sure their are different options for them though cause i see all different kinds of 6'ers driving around that look nothing alike.

I don't think there is anything special about the 30 Camaros that will be built in October 08. Those are just probably the first of the first that we will see in Jan 09.

Then the Camaros built in Oct, Nov, and Dec will simply make up the initial stock of Camaros you will see on the lots in January 09.

There is only one Ford V6 offered in the Mustang.

Ahem...(cough). Even IF they put the L76 in it. 367hp (or something like that) is nothing to snort at!!!. I myself have fallen into this world where anything under 400hp seems like crap to me; "WRONG, Self!" I mean, sure 367 isn't a LOT of hp, but it's still a big number. I keep forgeting to put it into perspective.

Good things come to those who wait. I can be patient if it means getting just what I want. If I have to wait even a whole year, it's worth it. After all, I would want to keep it for a long time.
