Anyway the HPE650 kit and SLP stage III will get me the desired ammount of HP and both claim the kits will fully work in the stock LS3 motor and tranny. Just wondering if that is correct info. This is my very first pony car....
I think the HPE650 kit puts down 560rwhp, which should be safe for a stock(ish) LS3 powered Camaro.

I just installed my maggie last week, and this week (3 days of driving) my slave cylinder failed and took out my new clutch. I'm over 49k miles on my car, but my clutch was only @ 4k miles. If you have any grinding issues what so ever, get it into the dealership NOW to get them addressed before the SC goes on.

The stock clutch is holding perfectly in a buddy's LS3 @ 600rwhp, so it is pretty much a crap shoot as to when/if the slave is going to give up and take the clutch with it.

Thanks for the info..

My plan is to replace the stock clutch and rear axles with heavy duty, since they will probably give out adding almost 200 hp to the car. Just don't want to have to replace the tranny or engine..

See sig for current, but 364rwhp L99 w/ headers, CAI and tune, add blower retune, 3 inch exhaust 536rwhp and high 10`s. Remember power under the curve wins races especially on heavy cars.

In order to get the Maggie warranty there can NOT be any other mods to the engine like CAI, maybe headers/exhaust, cam/springs, heads, tune. You must use the Maggie tune only. All these packages from vendors are not going to help you. I think changing clutch and axels would be OK but not too sure. The Maggie tune with warranty probably will not be close to 200 hp either as it is ultra conservative. Just more for you to consider if you are interested in the warranty.

I don't plan on doing any engine mods except for the package SC kit offered. I saw a video of a SLP Camaro (completely built by SLP) with the stage one (575hp) running a decent drag and track course and I want my camaro to do the same. This is still going to be a "daily driving" car so I am not looking for a super fast drag car, but I do want people to say it looks good AND is fast....

with stock tires you should be ok with 640 or so.
BUT with slicks you will need a clutch.

also I had 4 people in the car from a stop reved her up dumped the clutch in 2nd and the only thing spinning was the motor Cuz the clutch was slipping 100%

Sooo yes plan on one too.
