11 second bolt on 2010 2ss
alright my goal is to be in the 11's NA with only bolt ons. with the mods i have i have run 12.833 @ 109.35 1.935 60ft on 21 inch rims and street tires! the time slip is below. that run was with no tire spin so i was babying it.
My mods are Hennessey CAI, FlowMaster Pro Series, 1LE Strut Brace, Ported Throttle Body, JRE Tune, JRE Scoop, MSD Wires, 3.70 Gears, Stainless Works LT Headers and Hi Flow Cats, Pro Torque 3500 stall. i have recently purchased 18x10 Forgestar F14's for the rear and will be getting some Mickey Thompson 305 DR's. My questions is can i hit 11's in a negative DA the way i sit or will i need to do something else. the only things i can think of is to get Underdrive pulley, ZL1 20's for the front vs my 21's. i dont have wheel hop issues so i dont think suspension will be an issue.

It'll be close, but with some effort it's possible. Do you have the ability to tweak the tune? That'll help as you work it out.

Some drag radials will do you good, just getting the 60 down in the 1.6 to 1.7 will offer dramatic improvements.

Underdrive pulley, electric water pump would both squeeze out a few more hp. Maybe lowering springs, trailing arms and sway bars.

Need wheels that offer a substantial weight drop vs even the factory 20s. 11s are doeable, I have helped push a handful into the 11s with bolt ons, but they all have the right wheel/tire combo.

GM said that if you drop the 21's to 20's you will gain .2 in the 1/4. so with 18's
(-.2) DRs (-.3)and my stall (-.3) thats what i figure and that would put me right at a 12.0 so im thinking with the right conditions i can get it.

2 tenths from 21 to 20 is a lil exaggerated I believe. With 18's and a Drag radial I'd say you have about 4-5 tenths that you could easily pickup with a great launch and the lighter wheels. With some negative da you may squeak a 11.9 out of it, but its gonna be tough to get from a 12.8.

I went 12.06 this fall, 18's front and back, only a 1.70 short time.
I'm going to give it one more try at the beginning of next season unless I get the urge to install heads and cam. My best was 12.06@110 1.70, but I've gone 113.6 MPH as a best. I was hoping to go 11.99 without skinnies and more changes, but even if I do an x pipe and !cats I'm not sure those two changes will add much (Rhino what you think?). Either way I'll probably do the x pipe and !cats, lower the car, and see if that gets me 11's. Rhino will be tuning the car of course.

Change your cold air intake to a CAI or ADM. You will gain at least 10whp average. Front wheels need to go down to 18x8 or skinnies and you should reduce as much weight on the car as possible. There are some great Threads about weight reduction. 21lb Braille battery and rear seat delete save you roughly 50 pounds alone! Last but not least Driver Mod lol low 60ft times. Coil overs, stiffer sways always help get the traction down ect. Good track conditions and Good Luck

I posted the above kinda fast.
I think my car could run 11.99 as is to be honest. I 60'd 1.66 once but was spinning at the same time. Last few times at the track I was 1.70 - 1.75, new set of drag radials too. From looking at my slips and Tim E's slips, he pulled better up top than I did. I might have had some knock retard/ might have wanted more fuel per Rhino. I would have been close with some better traction and if the mph up top had been more in the 112.5 range which it has been much of the time. Slicks would have easily worked too. You have to 'work' the slip, you need to run 7.70's in the 1/8th to be in the game. You can get there with some help, and some trial and error.

Lethal, you need to get Don C to register so he can be added to the list. I'll text him to push him.
