I will be getting a Camaro SS. Any future Z28 will be great, but a stripper 1SS is just right for me.

Even though I do not have a 2010. I am in the process of selling my 02 Camaro SS to get ready to purchase a 2012 Z/28.

Why, you can build it faster, more unique, and personalized.

1. I get to enjoy it now
2. I can change what I want to the way I want it
3. I can make it faster than the Z
4. GM will never be able to match my interior

Once I get my Z/28 , it is going right down to Mikey @ Rapid Motorsports. I am already thinking about modifying. I never learn.

On all fronts, I probably will do it.

order Z/28 , meh

I do not recall seeing the Z/28 outdo the SS buit then again I have not paid attention to Camaro until I ordered and paid for my 1st Camaro , the 2000 SS!

If I had known about a Z/28 confirmed for production before I bought this SC, pipes, and CAI then maybe.... as long as SS isn't available with the bigger and better which I suspect will happen. When I bought my 2000 SS the SS was the Z/28 upgraded with everything like CAI, suspension, wheels, etc. Don't let the secret get out but I have never actually liked the Z!

You can personalize a Z/28 too. I know I will not keep mine stock even though I will keep it looking stock. Head Work/ Rapid Custom Grind Cam plus maybe swapping that 1.9l blower to 2.3l. Swap out some of the internals for sure.

No, I will not be getting rid of my SS. This is the car I have always wanted. I ordered it with EXACTLY the options I wanted. No more no less. It is perfect for me. I think it will be really cool to see how the Z28 ends up when it comes out, but I will only be an admirer, not a buyer. This SS is HOTNESS!!!!!!!!!!!

A Z28 was never about pure power and acceleration. The 5th Gen will be no different.

Personally, I would consider it if the Z/28 was so upscaled it would be illogical to pour money in the SS instead. Besides performance, we can speculate a possible Z/28 would have a much more aggressive body style, electronics GPS package, perhaps a Bose system, etc.
Thats a Berlinetta, not a Z28.
