Please see if your ZL1 wheels fit this car!!! I will likely be doing a 6th gen and think this car needs a little more aggressive stance. It would be a shame for the 6th gen not to be able to run 305's or 315's in the rear...

On the agenda today.

Weigh the car with full tank of fuel

Install the optional Brake cooling duct kit.

Install my ZL-1 wheels for fitment and better looks.

Build a Catch Can kit for the Gen6 model

Read the ECM And TCM computer files.

Pics to follow.

They do not stick out as far on this car as they do on my ZL-1

Wow, great job!
Thank you!

I wonder how much the OEM gen 5 ZL1 black wheels and tires weigh each vs the new gen 6 ones.

Looks good. Those are the same exact replica wheels and color I had on my 5th gen. Not sure I want to go with the same thing this time around, although its an option.

Thanks for doing this!

Ted, It is tough to tell but those are DRs in the back correct? How about taking it to the strip for us and getting some numbers before you begin to mod? I'm interested it what it will run with DRs only

Yes sir I had them handy and inquiring minds want to know if a 315 will fit so we proved it does.

It is very tight on the drivers side inner liner because there is a wire harness behind it pushing it out in to the wheel well.

No rubbing but we are looking at relocating that harness for even larger tires.

Ted.
