I do cars through USAA, and my bikes through Progressive. Both great companies, and the rates are good.
Only $620 per year for the two bikes, and they are an '08 Suzuki Hayabusa and an '09 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Limited. Then again I haven't had to make a claim on bikes - ever. Car insurance is about a hundred a month. If you can get USAA, they are the more reliable folks ever. By the way, State Farm dropped me 20 years ago for one accident. I've had one very insignificant scrape that was my fault in 20 years. Take that State Farm. I do expect my premiums to go up when I get my Beasty. I also expect them to go up again later, because I may have a speeding infraction at some point.

I used to be Dragoneye...

I quoted a GT500 with Geico and it bumped my rates up to 650/6 months for both that and my Cobalt. Not bad at all considering I'm classified as "high risk" for the next 2 years.
I'm expecting the ZL1 to be a few dollars less expensive given OnStar and DRLs, etc... |

I pay around 1200 a year for my 2011 GT-500, I am 35 and have no points. My DD is a 2007 Hemi Charger and that one is about 900 a year. So I didn't think it was too bad, I found places that were cheaper for the GT-500 but more for my other 2 cars, Charger and 08 Suburban, I just looked at the cheapest overall price for all 3 and thats $246 a month for all 3 so Under $1000 each for 12 mo. ZL1 should be similar I would think.
