No!

They manufacture cats for companies like Kooks and JBA so they can include them in their kits.

I'd say if you pass this test you'll be good.
When we have the design in place that will be used for prototype phase then I will definately let you know. Today I flow benched 4 different designs and let me tell you, I think we have an amazing product for you guys. These new cats will even replace our current style so that everyone that buys from a company we supply can get that awesome performance. And yes, we will be selling directly to consumers. If anybody needs a set of high flow cats just let me know and I'll get you pricing. I'll ask my owner tomorrow for pricing on them tomorrow.

We make the cats and coat them, kooks and other companies buy them from us and weld them onto their own pipes. We can sell you replacement cats though if you want some.

In my Opinion Cats for Superchargers should be double the size of Current offerings.

Ted.

I seen this thread and it made me nervous so I decided to put my worries to rest. these are Dynatech L/T headers with high flow cats on my Maggie setup. I was pleased to find out that neither cat had failed but I wanted to rest any worries so we "doctored" them up.

before:

after:

and this is a small portion of the garbage that was inside the cats. key word being "was".

What did you use to gut them? Did the exhaust sound change much?

at first we tried to use a regular chisel with a hammer. that looked like it would take forever. we then broke out the heavy artillery by using an air powered chisel and the stuff came out much faster.

as for the exhaust sound afterwords? the sound didn't change a bit.

no difference in sound or performance. but that's okay because I wasn't expecting any difference. I did this for piece of mind, nothing more.
