No real reason to spend the time to take it off...and if a new development model is camo'd...I'm sure it has to do with some internal regulations regarding test-models.

Anybody wonder if this is a new Blue. Doesn't seem as dark as my IBM. We've all heard that IBM was gone for 2012.

More than likely it is just a older CTF or mule ABM car

looks more like the limited edition Aqua Blue Metallic (ABM) to me, would be cool to see that come back, especially on the ZL1

Check out the proving grounds on Google satellite view... looks like a whole lot of fun. Check out the far left side of the grounds.... a really thin track with ~2.5 mile straights...

That's an old ABM that they turned into a ZL1 for testing. That's one of the reasons why I'm not a big fan of ABM as it can give a green or teal hue in certain lighting conditions.
