the dealership here is big, and the service manager had never heard of the radio usb interface doing this. They said there is no recall for it, so pulling fuse now.

Yeah, but it's been over two weeks and the OP has not even come back to update this thread. Now that is what is a shame.

Heres what I tried...I had the car turned off, key out, ipod out, pulled fuse, waited 5 mins, put fuse back in, turned on car, plugged ipod back into usb=still broke. So, I left the car on, unplugged ipod, pulled fuse, waited 5 mins, put fuse back in, plugged ipod usb back up=still broke. So far, no one has put up any fix that will actually work.

all you have to do is pull out (F13) fuse labeled "DISPLY 10A" on the side fuse box by the driver side. This will reset the radio.

As per the shop manual, the fuses description is as follows:

T11 Multimedia Player Interface Module (USR), A20 Radio/HVAC Controls

My USB port stopped working, the radio showed "NO DEVICE FOUND" and then I unplugged the USB flash drive and tried to plug it in again, but nothing happened. I also tried to plug the "AUX" cable in and...nothing.

After a quick Fuse pull, everything worked again. I hope this helps, I started hating disconnecting the battery all the time it quit working.
Just tried this on mine - worked like a charm! My USB had not worked since I bought the car. Thanks for posting!

I've noticed similar issues, but it's intermittent...I usually just unplug the player, turn it off, and plug it back in. Plugging it in causes it to power back on, and look for a signal of what it's plugged into, and by default I guess, causes the car to recognize it.
I've wondered if I have this problem because I leave it plugged in all the time, and don't take it out of the car...??

@2010IBMSS Thank you!!

I recently had this issue & pulling the fuse worked!!! ...seemed to be no power to the USB port at all...I'd plug my iPod in and it would't even light up or show that it was charging. Tried an iPod, iPhone, and used 3 different cables. Radio would not even let me go to the AUX option, it was as if it didn't even exist so there was no access to the AUX jack, USB, or GMconnect bluetooth.

I was getting very frustrated and was worried that I'd have to take the car in and that it wouldn't be covered since I installed the PDIM myself about a year and a half ago.

Just wanted to let everyone know that it did work for me so try this if you have this problem before taking your car in. I know it unfortunately won't work in every situation, but at least we know this process does work sometimes.

For all of you that have had similar issues....to the OP, you stated in post #1 that you were going to check the HW/SW version as we ask you to do, was that before you after you took your car in?

I am guessing that your delership has NO CLUE, when it comes to this problem. For starters, THEY should have checked the HW/SW version theirself. Their is a Technical Service Bulliten (TSB) out on all 2010/2011 Camaros dealing with this AND it tells the dealer what to do! and I will garenttee you the fix, PER THE TSD is for the dealer to REPLACE the PDIM. This issue actually came up in the very begining of the 2010 model run in the middle of 2009. in fact there is a thread that has been going strong ever since dealing with it. ( http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31235 ). I took its advice, printed out the TSB, took it to my dealer, WITH the TSB in hand....the TECH read the TSB, hopped in my car, checked the HW/SW version theirself, got out and ordered the part, got it in the next day....made an appointment and it only took about 1 1/2 hrs start to finish.....as per the TSB, they put the new module in the car and its work FLAWLESSLY ever since, adn that is about a year and a half ago.

HERE is the TSB, with the P/N required on it.
