Love the new challenger its sick looking but my grip is the interior. They used the parts bin for the interior from the charger and the 300c. Very cheesy

that means that the mirror is 38.75% the size of the vertical windshield...
it sure seems like the ratio could be better... just sayin....

Should've kept the R/T, gotten the Camaro 2SS & GT500, and do your own C&D comparison..

Who really wants a soft ride in a sports car? The ride is supposed to be tighter. I'm sure they carried quite a few suspension parts over from the Charger/300C chassis for the Chally. Plus, it's heavy as hell.

Fbody FTMFW!!!!!

Not to mention the type of people who would drive a "smart" car wouldn't typically buy a Challenger or Camaro.

Negative equity FTL - there is probably $10k lost in that deal.

Sounds like you really loved the Challenger!!! Maybe should have kept it?? The Challenger should feel bigger because it is. It should ride softer because it is heavier. Alot of people love the sound of the exhaust. Not too load until you get into the gas. As far as "the chall sits taller and is higher" a sports car is not suppose to be high that is for 18 wheelers!!!! As far as your plastic piece popping out, whats causing that is a plastic clip. I choose Camaro!!!!

A year ago I had a smart car, I sold that about 4 months later and bought a v6 challenger, I drove that about 4 months, then decided I needed the Hemi Challenger, so I bought an Rt. I knew I would only have the Rt a few months, since I ordered a Camaro in October.

Since I picked up the camaro, I love the look of the car but I find that I miss several things about my challenger.

1) the challenger is way bigger inside
2) the challenger has a nicer, softer ride
3) the challenger sits up higher, the camaro feels like my butt is sitting on the road
4) the challenger had a meaner, louder exhaust note to it. My neighbor used to hear me pull in the garage nightly, now he doesnt even hear me.
5) both the challenger and the camaro had the upgraded boston acoustics sound system and the challengers sounded way better.
6) the piece of plastic that goes from the drivers side window down to the dash board on the interior was popped out when i picked the car up, they popped it back in but it popped out again today when I was driving down the freeway and hit a tiny lil bump

ok thats it for my complaints about the camaro
the camaro seems to be a quicker car, but I havent been on it too hard, waiting for it to be broken in more.
I guess I just need to get used to it, I am sure it will grow on me.
Thx for the real world review. The R/T and SRT8 cars really are full size muscle cars, vs. pony-size cars, and are not trying to be sports cars. The Camaro is more nimble and quick, and takes to mods more readily, but you give up some comfort and convenience. It is all about what you are looking for in a car, can't go wrong either way.

Wow you must have money to burn. This is the second camaro I know of that had the A-pillar trim piece pop out. The first one I saw it was on the passenger side though.

Cannot knock the guy for getting the cars he want. If you work hard, well you cannot take it with you, so might as well enjoy it !

As for the car comparo, that's a good insight. When I sat in a Camaro, I felt a lil cramp, but I am a big guy..My complaint was why are the seats so low ???? As long as my arms are, and I am 6'4, I could not even hang my arm out the window, (comfortably) sitting in it. The Challenger though..wow ! That interior is like butter. I wish I could transplant the interior to my 08GT. The 2010 Mustang interior is nice as well. Which makes me wonder, why my 08 could not have had that :(

Could you post pics of all the cars you mentioned you had (ie. smart car, Challenger SE, Challenger R/T, Camaro 1SS)? Thanks.
