I believe that you've made your position clear. You like both cars, but it's a matter of money.
In other words, what will bring you more units of satisfaction? A Camaro in your garage or 10 thousand dollars in your pocket and a challenger in your garage. It sounds like you'll be happier if you have the extra money and the challenger to drive. Now, all you have to do is pull the trigger on the deal for the challenger. You should do it. |

About 9 years ago I settled for a Mustang over a SS Camaro... horrible I tell you... never again! Choose wisely... wait and save up if you must, but don't ever settle!
It was a $6,000 difference for me.

I'm getting the 2lt. I dont think a DD needs an SS... I'm getting mine for under $30k and I will perfectly happy getting from 0 to 60 in a lil over 6 seconds and maxing out right around 150.. There is nothing wrong with a challenger. My only question is though, if you are a DD and you want an awesome car for around $30k then why not the v6 camaro? Better interior better styling better pricing and better fuel economy than Challenger R/t I know it doesn't outperform it but a DD doesn't need top notch performance do they?

I'm really dissappointed because somebody would switch from camaro to crappy dodge. I've driven the challenger srt8 and the rt, and i tell u both car r junk, and cheap. pay the price it will be worth it

Nothing is set in stone. I am going to try and work out a deal with the NY dealer and see if drop shipping or transporting a Camaro is do-able

With the options he wants it's ~$36k and with tax it's just about right at ~$40k. He can get the R/T optioned they way he wants with tax at ~$30k.

yea they always try and say 1SS but hey alot of people dont want a bare bones 1SS so a 2SS starts at 35000 add RS your at 37000 add ttl 40 is here. For what he wants and the deal he is getting on the chally its worth it.

You won't give the Camaro any bones, will ya? A 2SS starts at 34,2xx WITH the destination charge...and the RS package is $1200 on an SS. Your estimate tacked on almost $2 grand that isn't there...what ever happened to fair comparisons? |
