Stick cars. I need input

Alright you gear grabbing guys. I finally got a good tire on my car and just ran a 12.3 @ 115. That being said. I really think if I get my launch down perfectly it could clip a 11.9-12.0. I cut a 1.8 60' but I slipped the clutch quite a bit, if I can knock that down to a 1.6 I would be pretty happy.

Car is a decent size cam and full exhaust only car. Makes in the ball park of 460-470 to the wheels. And next year I plan on spraying a 150 on it.

My question is what clutch do you suggest. I've been looking at the McLeod RXT. But there is a ceramic and a metallic version. Which would withstand slipping better. Or do you have any other suggestions other than a McLeod? Only thing that worries me is I hear that they don't like being slipped at all. And I need a little slip otherwise it wheel hops pretty bad. I already have BMR toe rods and trailing arms. But not control arms.

Input is greatly appreciated

I run the RXT. I was told the RST didnt like to slip. So far it hasnt hiccuped once. It has a slight shudder during normal driving, but you learn to drive around it.

Thanks for the input guys. Do you use the ceramic or metallic friction material one?

I would also consider a Monster Clutch man! Steve is a great guy to deal with!

Our DYAD dual-disk is another option you could consider. It has a easy stock-like engagement, but is rated for upwards of 1300 ft/lbs. Its the perfect clutch for driving around town one day, then doing a full blown track event the next!
