Its not the size of the collector, it's how you use it

The collector does look a little small, but the pictures show the quality welding on the headers. Thanks for posting pics.

FWIW, ARH was started by a group of Kooks employees. Both headers have great build quality and numbers that are almost identical. For the deals that can be had on kooks, I believe they will win 9 out of 10 times

I just ordered my Kooks from Maryland Speed, 1-7/8", w/cat connectors, and Jet Hot coated.

Call Maryland Speed for the best price and service around.

Kooks and ARH is pretty much a dead heat.

They both build a very good product. Like I said earlier. Give each company a call and give your money to the guys you like most.

Otherwise they are about equal in performance.

I'd call it adeasd heat between all three. They all have good customer support, great fit and finish, and equal power. So to me its a no-brainer, get the best deal.

I thought I was going to be happy with just the exhaust since I heard it was the most aggressive sounding option as far as cat-backs go. It sounds great and I don't regret my purchase; I simply want a more aggressive tone.

As I kept reading through the forum, I started narrowing my choices on headers. I crossed off Pacesetters and Doug Thorleys because they are mild steel. Also, I prefer 304 grade stainless--so I'm thinking ARH, Dynatech, or Kooks. I don't care if they're 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 primaries as along as they come with high flow cats. I was considering deleting the cats but I don't know whether I will like the sound without them. I'm not worried about drone because the chambered x-pipe on my cat-back has done a good job of minimizing drone.

Any honest opinions as well as sound clips (if you have a Magnaflow cat-back with headers) are welcome.

Happy Holidays,
Eddie
I'm very happy with ARH the fit, finish everything is top notch.the only problem I had is that I made a mess when I installed them but it's my own fault.
Here's something I took maybe it will help decide
ARH 1 7/8 LTs hooked up to Factory mufflers no catts (LS3), I took this video soon after I installed them

Consider SLP, here is my set up. I wanted performance but needed good sound too.
