when you say fastest, most people are thinking power, the 3 fastest cars, are not the ones listed, otherwise Bruce's and Robert's would be on their as well.

Where are you confused?
So how is Bruce's or Roberts the fastest? Because they make high dyno numbers. There is one way you rank, rate, whatever you want to call it, it's the 1/4 mile. Just because you make gobs of power doesn't mean you're the fastest.

I think it's stupid to rate the fastest cars based on drag racing. What if someone builds a powerful car but has no intentions to drag race, say a standing mile? And if someone wants to enjoy driving an M6, then they have a clear disadvantage on having the 'fastest car'

Just because you can shift really good, or in most cases, use a button fast doesn't mean you have the fastest car.

That's fine. You can think it's stupid to rate it with the 1/4 but that's currently how it's setup. Go set up a standing mile list.

There is only one common denomintaor that we all have access to...it's the 1/4 drag strip. NOT the standing mile. That's is why it's rated that way. Maybe you can find us a standing mile in Indy that we can use.

Its really not that hard of a concept to grasp. The C5 fastest list is based on 1320'. M6, A6, Atco or Colorado. Lots or variables are involved. If you want in the game you accept the rules.

As soon as I can find some oxygen I'm heading your way Jamie, I'll put a scuba tank on my car if it means I can get some air

The black looks bad ass too. Like it's ready to punch you in the mouth! The car looks great either way. I wouldn't mine getting those body parts on my car but I doubt I'd be able to see over that cowl.

My car would blow up if the DA dropped below 6000, and your car wouldn't get past the 60' up here
