Your average MPG
Right now, I average about 19 MPG bone stock. I just ordered a tuner, CAI and axle back exhaust. Will this raise or lower my average?

It should raise slightly.

I didn't say anything about worrying about MPG, just inquiring what others are getting and what to expect when I add those things to my car. I have 7100 miles on it and drive it normally most of the time but get on it from time to time; I would say its about 50/50 city/highway driving.

Good question...
I've got the following mods: CAI Longtube Headers with catted midpipe Full MBRP system Hurst Shifter (doesnt affect fuel consumption!) Custom tune- 426/422 to the rear wheel on a very stingy Dyno. I'm seeing 16.7 MPG in my 2SS/RS and drive moderately 50/50 highway and city driving. Driving style has a lot to do with your MPG. Your results may vary. |

the first month I averaged 13mpg with a lot of highway driving, about 1500 miles worth. The other 500 miles was hard city driving. I average just under 19 now with mixed driving.

Ive been keeping track of MPGs with accufuel on my iphone and after 6500 miles here are my results.
The DiC is pretty accurate. I drive same route every nite and try not to lead foot it so I can keep an accurate test. Cruise control is set and AFM kicks in since its a 45 mile hiway route. I have an average of 20 mpgs during the winter months. The best I have seen was 1 tank at 24mpgs maybe gas type was the cause. Mods are Solo catback, CAindustries CAI and diablo 91 tune.

Getting about 17-18 MPG. 99% city driving. Always had the Stainless Works system so I don't know what it did to the fuel economy.

It won't raise it at first because you won't be able to resist feeling that extra power after the mods...lol. My mileage is about the same after my mods though...

True, mileage may actually go down at first but then after you get used to the mods and go back to your "normal driving style", you might see mileage go up just a little but I wouldn't plan on it.
