Dynomax Bullets installed on LS3

i got my stock mufflers cut off and replaced with some dynomax bullets. it sounds deeper but still not loud enough. damn catalytic converters, and resonators.

sorry about the sound quality(digital camera)...but you get the idea. they look a hell of a lot nicer than the jerry cans. lol

If you want louder why don't you just delete the mufflers altogether like others are doing?

to hard to tell what this really sounds like because of the recording quality. But to me this sounds like it is louder then when you just do the muffler delete.

I wish I had gone this route.

the reason i didn't just 'delete' the mufflers is that once the resonators are cut out, and possibly headers installed later, it will be a lot louder anyways. straight pipe vids sound like they have a quite a raspy sound, that and having staight pipes is illegal. at least with these installed it's 'legal' if i get pulled over. one less thing to get a ticket for, besides tinted side windows lol

Yeah, I want to keep mine legal too, so maybe I'll do the bullets. But it seems to me that this is just for sound not performance, right? It looks like the most restrictive parts are before the axle and a full catback would actually free up HP.

By the way, is this actually more legal than the muffler delete? I always thought bullets were labeled as "off road use only."

correct! i'm after a more aggressive sound, but really, who doesn't want a few extra ponies?

good question, but the way i see it is if a cop looks underneath and sees no mufflers, i'd rather have bullets.

I did use glass packs to get a deeper more mellow sound.
