Just to comment on a few questions raised in here...

Door lock control is still available at the touch of the center button. But people asked for door locks - so they got'em, too.

ZL1 should go on sale late this year for an early 2012 delivery.

The best place to get up-to-date ordering information is your dealer. And if they don't know, find another one. The information is available to them.

Good info!

But what I can't seem to find is a picture of the "new" gauge graphics. I see the steering wheel but countless threads talk about redesigned gauge graphics but I have seen no proof of them. Are they talking about the speedo/tach or the 4 cluster?

I'll show you!!

They touched up the main gauge faces with a skinny (Corvette-esque) needle and tighter font so they're easier to read...versus the older 'fat' needle that didn't work very well...

I can't seem to find a good straight-on shot of the guages, so I snagged this one of the ZL1, just don't mind the 200mph mark...Name: ZL1guages.jpg

I would ask your dealer to see if orders can be placed now, there is a guy on Camaro5 that placed an order for a 2012 convertible http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=146240
I've been hearing we won't see pricing until July :/

how interesting... especially since I was told by a Camaro team member that the order date for 2011s ended around May 18th and I got the same June 2nd date for ordering confirmation on 2012s

start of production on 2012s will be July 18th... I'd be interested to know when your allocation will be here... if its before the end of July, I have a feeling you're going to really love your 2011 Camaro.

No worries there. She knows what I want and I know that it won't be delivered until the end of August or early September.

The dealer i went to started taking orders beginning of May. When GM officially opened the ordering for 12s they were submitting it. Ordered my 2012 May 4th. The dealer said should be in by mid to late august first week of september the latest.
