Actually, they are referring to the 90hp version of that car...which WAS crap.

Yeah, those iron dukes were pretty worthless, even in that time. The fact there are so few around now is increasing collector value.

Pontiac Aztec. Worthy of being #1 for once.

I agree with nearly all of their comments, except this one:
Quote:
2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP: Shoving a 303-horsepower, 5.3-liter LS4 V8 into the front-drive Grand Prix was silly. Having front tires wider than the rears was just plain stupid.
Yes, sticking a V8 sideways into a car isn't the best idea ever ... but the front tires were wider for a very good reason: reduce the understeer inherent to FWD. Its also kinda helpful when you've got over 300 ft-lbs of torque going to the front wheels

All of the Mustang II owners are now rejoicing because there is a car worse than theirs.

The 80's era certainly wasn't one with cars full of horsepower.

This just reinforces how I've felt my whole life until recently. Being born in 1964 and watching the beautiful Muscle car era end in 73' and seeing nothing but ugly American cars from 1973 all the way through to 2003,2004. The newest C6 line of Corvettes was truly a landmark, along with the 05' Mustang in the re-birth of the golden age of American cars.

I find it amazing how people in these forums talk about pre 2004 American cars with nostalgia in any way, considering how hideous they were since 74' , ugly, ugly, ugly, ran like crap with terrible quality and cheesy interiors. Thank God for this HP war and all the beautiful cars it's produced in the last 8 years.

Speaking of Pontiac, I always loved my Mom's red Pontiac Bonneville 66' black top convertible. I also really liked very much the Pontiac G8's when they were fit out well right as they killed the company. Erik

The Mustang II needs to be number one. The Aztec was a hunk of junk no doubt, but the Mustang II was a hunk of junk with a legendary name.
