Help locating a enclosed trailer
Hey guys, sorry to post off topic here, but I fugure racers here might be able to help out.
If anyone knows where I might find a good deal on an enclose car trailer, I'd sure appreciate a tip. I need one for the haul to C5 Fest and I figured I could pick up a deal on one at a dealer. I went to a trailer dealer here in the Jacksonville FL area and they didn't have an enclosed trailer on the lot, aparrently they are all made to order. They can make one in 4 weeks, but that's too late. I'd even be willing to rent one. |

Thats a good question. I wander how much trailer my Dodge 1500 could handle? Not sure about the enclosed trailer tho, why would you want or need an enclosed trailer unless you are racing every day?

Nobody can throw a brick through the window. Nobody can slash your slicks. Nobody can dump something in your gas. And cause maybe he wants one. The best reason of all.

Wow racing sounds violent? I agree, if he wants enlcosed he should do it for that reason alone. The race trailers are cool looking, I think I might want one.

GROSSLY depends on who makes it and what size trailer....but race ready 30' trailer somewhere around 5 to 6k lbs is what I think I've been seeing it. I have enough truck that it doesn't much matter so I haven't paid much attention.

I just ordered and am about to take delivery on an open race hauler, and it tips the scales between 2800-3000 lbs... But it's big... 28 feet overall length... 20 foot bed, big racer box on the front..
